The Alaska Native Heritage Month committee and 90.3 KNBA presents The Visionary Awards, which is the first of its kind. It aims to recognize and honor Alaskan Natives and American Indians who reside in the State of Alaska who are perpetuating and preserving culture through artistic and visionary ventures such as film, photography, music, visual and literary art, performance art and so much more.

Village Vogue Fashion Show

Saturday, November 28, 6pm, Alaska Native Heritage Center

Artists/designers are invited to utilize objects found within their villages, fish camps, reservations, trap lines and hunting camps to make fashion ensembles ready for the runway. 


Entry Deadline is October 30th.
Deadline for finished pieces is November 14th
As a featured artist, you will need to find a model to wear your object down the runway.
