November Is Native Heritage Month
Alaska Native Heritage Month and the Alaska Native Heritage Center seek Artists/Designers for Village Vogue Fashion Show.
The Alaska Native Heritage Month, Inc, in collaboration with the Alaska Native Heritage Center are seeking 20 Alaska Native and American Indian artists to enter the Village Vogue Fashion Show.
Artists/designers are invited to utilize objects found within their villages, fish camps, reservations, trap lines and hunting camps to make fashion ensembles ready for the runway. As a featured artist, you will need to find a model to wear your object down the runway. The event takes place Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
Tickets: Ivory seating $100 Copper seating $75 Cedar seating: $50
